what's up with this board?

I am a newbie to DMX512.  Looking for cheap solutions to lighting issues.
Does anyone really look at the board?
Being the second post on the whole board seems quite strange. Unless it is really really new.
Here's wishing belated success to  this board.

It was set up as an experiment, its not actually the roaring sucess it could be though :)  Thanks for your good wishes.
